she was sitting in fromt of me, speaking while drinking her coffee about the miracle of last events in her life.
from winning some money in lottery when she needed that money to hearing a name of a man completely by chance when i had to know the name.
her smile showed her happiness from that happening.
i told her i was happy for her but the things she named miracles were just accidental synchronism.
i know my words weren’t pleasant for her but i thought maybe my speech could be a spark in her mind to change the nature of miracle in her life.
of course i know i wasn’t successful because of the idiology governs her mind.
after the meeting with my friend i was driving and thinking about last paragraph of “the magic of reality” written by sir richard dawkins:
miracles, magic and myths- they can be fun, and we have had fun with them throughout this book. everybody likes a good story, and i hope you enjoyed the myths with which i began mist if my chapters. but even more i hope that, in every chapter, you enjoyed the science that came after the myths. i hope you agree that the truth has a magic of its own. the truth is more magical-in the best and most exciting sense of the word- than any myth or made-up mystery or miracle. science has its own magic: the magic of reality.
